Adults 18 to 65 years of age with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) may qualify for a clinical research study evaluating an investigational medication.

About the Study

Researchers are conducting a Phase 2 clinical research study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and effectiveness of an investigational medication called SPT-300 in adults with Major Depressive Disorder, with or without anxious distress. Participants will receive either the investigational medication or a placebo (a capsule that contains no active medication) in a 1:1 ratio. 

Qualifications

You May Qualify If You: 

  • Are 18 to 65 years of age 
  • Have a primary diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) 
  • Are currently experiencing a depressive episode that has lasted at least 4 weeks, but no longer than 18 months 
  • Have a history of recurrent depression 
  • Are willing to attend weekly study visits and complete study procedures
