Heart Failure Prevention Study

Researchers are evaluating an investigational treatment for adults who have type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease and may be at increased risk of developing heart failure.

Age Range: 40 to 100
Gender: Male and Female
Location: West Chester, Pennsylvania

About the Study

This study is looking at whether an investigational treatment, when added to standard treatment, may help reduce the risk of heart failure and cardiovascular-related death

Qualifications

You May Qualify If You:

  • Are 40 years of age or older
  • Have type 2 diabetes
  • Have cardiovascular disease, such as a history of heart disease, stroke, or circulation problems
  • Have additional factors that may put you at higher risk for developing heart failure
  • Have not been diagnosed with symptomatic heart failure
