This study is looking at whether an investigational treatment, when added to standard treatment, may help reduce the risk of heart failure and cardiovascular-related death
Qualifications
You May Qualify If You:
- Are 40 years of age or older
- Have type 2 diabetes
- Have cardiovascular disease, such as a history of heart disease, stroke, or circulation problems
- Have additional factors that may put you at higher risk for developing heart failure
- Have not been diagnosed with symptomatic heart failure
