Qualifications
You may qualify if you:
- Are 65 years of age or older, even if you are otherwise healthy; OR
- Are 12 years of age or older and have certain health conditions that may put you at greater risk for flu complications, such as certain lung conditions, moderate-to-severe asthma, heart disease, insulin-dependent diabetes, or moderate kidney disease; OR
- Are 12 years of age or older and have a weakened immune system due to certain medical conditions, cancer treatment, an organ or stem cell transplant, or certain medications that suppress the immune system.
- Are currently in stable health and have not been hospitalized for a worsening medical condition or other significant medical event within the past 2 months.
