Suburban Research Associates is seeking volunteers to participate in a heart health study testing a new investigational medicine for people living with or at risk for heart disease.

About the Study
This study is designed to assess the effect of the investigational medication compared with placebo in reducing the risk of major cardiovascular events in participants with established ASCVD or those at high risk for a first ASCVD event.
Qualifications
You may qualify if you’ve already had a heart or circulation problem, such as:
- A heart attack or serious heart-related event in the past year
- A stroke caused by blocked blood vessels in the past year
- A procedure to improve blood flow in your legs because of poor circulation
OR
You may qualify if you have not had a major event yet, but your doctor has told you that you’re at higher risk because of things like:
- High cholesterol that hasn’t come down enough with medication
- Plaque buildup in your heart, neck, or leg arteries
- A high calcium score on a heart scan
- Diabetes with complications
- Reduced kidney function
