Are you between 18 and 65 years old and being treated for depression? Even if your symptoms have improved, you may still be at risk for them coming back. You may be able to take part in a research study exploring a potential new treatment option.
This research study is looking at an investigational medication called brenipatide, which is being studied alongside your current antidepressant treatment. The goal is to learn whether it may help delay or prevent the return of depression symptoms.
Participants will continue taking their current prescribed antidepressant and will receive either the study medication or a placebo (a treatment with no active medication). Study doctors will closely monitor your health, symptoms, and overall well-being throughout the study.
