Suburban Research Associates is seeking adults living with Type 2 diabetes who have been diagnosed with diabetes-related kidney damage and are currently managing their condition but may still have signs of kidney disease progression.

About the Study
This research study is evaluating an investigational treatment to see if it may help protect kidney health in adults who have diabetes-related kidney disease, also known as diabetic kidney disease.
This study is testing whether blocking a protein in the body may help:
- Reduce protein loss in the urine
- Slow the progression of kidney disease
- Support overall kidney function
Qualifications
You may qualify for this study if you:
- Are 18 to 80 years old
- Have Type 2 diabetes
- Have been diagnosed with diabetic kidney disease
- Have evidence of kidney damage
- Have mild to moderate reduced kidney function
- Have an A1C between 6.5% and 10%
- Are taking stable medications for diabetes and kidney protection (such as ACE inhibitors or ARBs), or cannot tolerate them
You would not be eligible if your kidney disease is caused by something other than diabetes, if you have required dialysis or a kidney transplant, or if you have certain serious or unstable medical conditions.
