Bhavani Raghavan Lobo has over 20 years of experience in the substance use disorder (SUD), criminal justice, and mental health fields in multiple states and across systems.

In 2001, she began her career as a mental health therapist. Since then, she has worked in various roles and departments, including clinical, quality assurance, compliance, research, and management positions, overseeing the start-up and successful implementation of new projects stimulated by federal, county, and managed care organizations (MCOs). Bhavani has a background in clinical research with individuals diagnosed with Opioid Use Disorder, and her Doctoral dissertation focused on the impact of trauma and discharge status on follow-up outcomes after high-intensity Substance Use Disorder treatment.

Ms. Raghavan Lobo holds a Clinical Psychology Master’s Degree. She is currently a Psy.D. candidate at Immaculata University, where she is pursuing a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) degree. At Suburban Research, Bhavani is a clinical rater responsible for conducting assessments with patients to determine study eligibility and measure study outcomes.
