Suburban Research Associates is enrolling adults with Tophaceous Gout for a research study testing a new medication compared to allopurinol, a commonly used gout treatment.

Qualifications
You may qualify if you:
- Are 18 years or older
- Have a confirmed diagnosis of gout
- Have at least one measurable tophus (uric acid lump under the skin)
- Have been taking a stable dose of allopurinol for at least 3 months
- Have uric acid levels ≥ 5.0 mg/dL at both screening visits
- Are able to take gout flare prevention medication (like colchicine or NSAIDs) during the study’s first 24 weeks
- Are willing to avoid other gout medications during the study and keep follow-up appointments
