Suburban Research Associates is enrolling male participants for a clinical research study focused on Fragile X Syndrome (FXS). The purpose of this study is to better understand how an investigational medicine may affect thinking, learning, communication, and everyday behaviors in people living with FXS.

Age Range: 13 to 45
Gender: Male
Location: Media, Pennsylvania

About the Study

Participants will take part in a study lasting about 22 weeks, which includes a screening period, a 12-week treatment phase, and follow-up visits or phone calls. Study activities may include cognitive and behavioral assessments, health checks, questionnaires, and caregiver input. Some study visits may be completed at home depending on location and eligibility

Qualifications

This study may be a fit for males who:

  • Are 13–45 years old
  • Have a genetically confirmed Fragile X Syndrome diagnosis (≥200 CGG repeats)
  • Have an IQ of 70 or below
  • Have a caregiver who can attend visits, provide support, and complete questionnaires throughout the study
