About the Study
This study is approximately 10 weeks (about 2 and a half months) long and includes 9 appointments at our office in Media, PA. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of an investigational medication compared to placebo for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder when taken with another anti-anxiety medication. This is called adjunctive therapy, or add-on therapy.
There is no cost for participating in our research study. You will be compensated up to $100 per appointment for your time and travel dedicated to completing the clinical trial.
Qualifications
- ≥ 18 years of age
- Are you currently taking at least one of the following medications for your anxiety- paroxetine, venlafaxine XR, duloxetine, escitalopram, buspirone
- Are experiencing symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder
